L-Mesitran®
L-Mesitran® is a product line of several medical devices based on medical-grade honey aimed to promote treating and healing of wounds.
Medical Grade honey is sterilized honey which follows a rigorous process to guarantee quality, safety and efficacy.
A natural solution for treating wounds, with varying concentrations of honey, ranging from 30% to 48% honey, allowing treatment of different types of wounds, whether acute or chronic, and at different stages of healing (burns, pressure ulcers, diabetic foot, postsurgery wounds).

L-Mesitran®Soft
Gel with 40% medical grade honey, hypoallergenic medical grade lanolin, propylene glycol and vitamins C & E.
Indicated for superficial and deep wounds. Can be covered with a secondary dressing, (apply every 24 to 48 hours).
L-Mesitran® Ointment
Ointment with 48% medical grade honey, hypoallergenic medical grade lanolin, aloe vera, calendula, zinc oxide and vitamins C and E.
Indicated to treat wounds and to help with the removal of necrotic and devitalized tissue. Can be covered with a secondary dressing, (apply every 24 to 48 hours).
L-Mesitran® Active
Hydroactive dressing with 30% medical grade honey, acrylic polymer, water and a self-adhesive border. Indicated for small superficial and deep wounds. With a dimension of 7,5×4,5cm, including the adhesive border, (change every 3-5 days).
L-Mesitran® Border
Hydroactive dressing with 30% medical grade honey, acrylic polymer, water and a self-adhesive border. Indicated for all types of wounds. With a dimension of 10x10cm, including the adhesive border, (change 3-5 days).
L-Mesitran® Foam
Dressing made of polyurethane foam impregnated with LMesitran® Soft. The foam is able to absorb and retain exudate, up to 8 times its weight. With a dimension of 10x10cm. Cover and secure with a secondary dressing, (change 5-7 days).
L-Mesitran ®Hydro
Hydroactive dressing with 30% medical grade honey, acrylic polymer and water. Indicated all types off wounds and wounds with exudate. It retains exudate 9 times its weight.
With a dimension of 10x10cm of hydrogel.
Cover and secure with a secondary dressing, (change every 3-5 days).
L-Mesitran ®Tulle
Dressing made of polyethylene mesh impregnated with LMesitran® Soft. Indicated for wounds without exudate or with mild to moderate exudate. Cover and secure with a secondary dressing, (change every 3-5 days).
